Severum behavior?

So currently in my 37 I have a red severum (3.5-4 inches), a rotkeil severum (2.5-3 inches), 3 Denison barbs, buenos aires tetras and red rainbows (3 of each type). Anyways, it's a temporary tank till I get my 150 in 2 weeks but my severums are hanging out together in a way that's making me wonder... Circling each other a little and then just staying together. Red is moving some rocks around and the rotkeil is chasing off the smaller fish.

Anyone else think this could be breeding behavior or just them getting along well? Thanks for speedy responses!

Sounds like pre spawn behaviour.

That's what I was worried about... Like come on guys! Atleast wait a few weeks till you get your tank that's 4x bigger!!

If you have a severum spawning at 2.5" it's runted/stunted. They shouldn't be breeding any smaller than 4 - 5".
