OK, when all three severums are in the 55 gallon the wild male and female act like a pair and gang up on the F1 male. I took the F1 male out of the 55 because they beat the crap out of him.
Now that the two have the tank to themselves they just ignore each other. The male will chase the female around now and then, but nothing serious, no fighting, no lip locking, nothing! They just hang out together, the female still has her breeding tube down but not the male.
Should I put the F1 male back into the tank, using a divider so the "pair" can see the other male but not hurt it?
