So my leporinus has been really beating up on my severum recently and I’d like to get him into a different tank if possible. I know sevs are on the peaceful end of cichlids, but are large enough to eat small fish and may occasionally be mean, so I just wanted to run by the stock list and see if anything will be a problem:
3 silver dollars
1 bala
Lots of kribs
1 rainbow cichlid
1 BN pleco
1 cobalt lobster
1 Aussie rainbow (growing out in the tank, gonna probably move him to my school soon)
1 skirt tetra
1 tiger barb
1 zebra danio
1 Cory catfish
1 blue guorami

Only issue I can think of is the zebra danio, but I can move that somewhere else.
Thanks for your input!

His current tank has tetras in there, he doesn’t give a thought to them, he did eat two baby giant danios though. A few months ago I put a crayfish in his old tank, he was the only one that didn’t attempt to eat it. Leporinus and jd weren’t so forgiving though.
I think I’ll try it, if the sev gets too mean I’ll just move him back.

I see the danios as the only issue as well, maybe replace them with giant danios?

Just an observation, and please don't take this the wrong way, but your list of fish there seems to be a bit of a hodge podge. You have wayyyy to many single specimens of species that are known to thrive in groups, namely, your corys, tiger barbs, danios, tetras, even your single bala needs pals, although ultimately your bala situation is very much a tank size thing because they get big.

To get the best out of your fish regarding natural behaviour, colours, activity levels etc etc it is best to try and cater for their base requirements, especially schooling fish.

Again, don't take my observation the wrong way. It's not my intention to come across as rude.

I agree with esoxlucius esoxlucius . I would suggest keeping a eye on the Crayfish aka Cobalt Lobster. At night they are active and can and will do damage to fish resting on the substrate. I personally would never trust a Crayfish .

This is from personal experience if any of the Kribensis pair off your going to have issues with fish that occupy the bottom. A Kribensis Pulcher female is aggressive like 2 Convicts when she is protecting eggs, wriggler's, or fry.
