Hi MFKers
I had 3 little severums, 2/3 inch in with my synspilum pair in a 72 bow, I know, very stupid of me, but i rescued these stunted sevs
Now, he is missing many scales, his side flipper, half the other (but still has a little of it left)
I seperated him into a .75 gal plastic tank, not bad? and clipped it on the inside of the tank, to keep the temp
What should I do?
?????????????????
PLese he;p!!!!
Thanks so much MFK!!!
P.s. I added some plants for him to keep balance and balanced him out in it,
Thanks

It wasn't much of a rescue if you put them in a small tank with established pair of Synspillum. You'll need to get them their own tank or take them back. He might die from stress at this point.

Any medication and BTW... The woman was about to flush them and thay were 2 inches in a 2.5 gallon tank

But now they're in a .75 gallon tank. :(

Is the 72 gallon your only tank? Do you not keep a small hospital or quarantine tank running? I don't know about medication, maybe add salt and up the temp a little. Keep the lights off and try not to disturb him much. If he makes it thru the night, he'll probably live. Then you'll need to get a new tank or rehome. GL

EDIT-I just noticed your signature and tanks. I don't see a 72g bowfront listed...are you being on the up and up?

Also a trio of cubans in a 55, and a breeding group of 6 texas cichlids in a 55 are both terrible ideas. Good luck with the sev

They are small (the texas and cubans) 4/5 inch at most
Thanks for all the help guys
And yes, I moved the pair of synspilum to a 72 when they grew a bit and they will get an even bigger tank really soon...
Thanks
