I have a few questions to ask about my Severum fry. They are less than a cm long, hatched 5 days ago.
1. What's their growth rate?
2. What should I feed them and how often?
3. Tank size for 30 of them?
4. How do I filter without sucking them up?
5. Any other care I should be aware of?

Sponge filter
Water changes, water changes, water changes!

a bare bottom tank is also best so you can keep it clean and no dead fry go unnoticed. a little methaline blue(anti fungal)(not makachite green!!!) will greatly increase survival rate of young fry and eggs. as soon as they are big enough black worms are great for growth and they dont fowl the water because unneaten worms survive until they get eaten. i like to put my sponge filter in the worm tub for a few minutes then put it back in the tank, this can feed your fry for days without fowling the water.

It is bare bottom. It is 5 gallons, and I have a sponge filter for It rated up to 20 gallons. Methaline blue is a good idea, I'll have to try it.

Tank volume is less forgivable if your water parameters are less than par. It can be done though, I've hatch whole batches artificially in 5gals. Small multiple meals throughout the day is key.
