at what size/age does a severum attain its full colors? i have a "raspberry" and it seems everyday his colors are increasing. also can anyone post a pic of a full grown "raspberry" also does anyone know what type of severum is in craig_uk avatar? i think he said peruvian, in which case do all peruvains look like that or does he just have one hell of a fish?

different types of severums mature at different rates but most start to get good color once theyv reached about 4in and up (maybe even sooner with some) i dont know what a raspberry severum is maybe a super red? could you post pic?

I believe raspberries are dyed that color. He'll loose his colors over the next full months and get his natural colors once he matures.

when i got him he didnt have any colors at all, and now his colors are increasing, had him for bout 3 months now so im assuming hes not dyed

will post pics but lots of blue worms on face, between blue worms are lots of red dots and horizontal red dots on top of back, just the nose area is a really red raspberry color, also dorsal fin is highlighted with blue

dang, was your sev label as raspberry? b/c my sev looks way different than a rotkeil, the nose area is completely raspberry red n it doesnt have the "red head/shoulder" thing
