Severum ID please

Hi all.
Can anyone please tell me what kind of heros this fish are?
All I know is that they came from Peru.

Sorry about the poor pics, but I have a reasom for it.

They look like heros appendiculatus, but I'm not an expert when it comes to the subtle differences in the species.

Throw my vote in with appendiculatus also. Try looking at the photo section on rapps Web page, if i remember right, there's pics of several different severums

They kinda look like rotkeils in a way.

How many vertical bars do they have? The flash in the pictures makes it hard to tell.

Rotkeil severums come from Peru and these appear to have the beginnings of the red shoulder.
