This fish has caused a lot of arguments and discussions here. It appears to be a photo with enhanced/altered colors or odd lighting. A lot of severums have blue faces, but I've yet to see one with such bright yellow on the lower body. I think in reality it probably had more of a tan/bronze colored body which was enhanced in the photograph.

Anyway, it has the maroon cheek spots that are seen in notatus and H sp. "Inirida". I've not seen notatus with such blue faces, and they usually carry much darker black spotting through the body, so I'd rule them out. Also, you cannot count the bars to see if there are eight (like the Inirida) or nine (like most greens/turquoise/notatus). I'd think it's either a turquoise severum (H. appendiculatus), a green severum (H. efasciatus), or some variant of them. It's really anyone's guess, though.

What about this? I know it's color enhanced but it would still look pretty good withou th color enhanced.
