Golds have always varied in exact color and there's the various line bred strains, so one or another strain of gold. Rotkeils look like a standard green severum (except bar count) until they develop the extra red/orange.

Yours are the gold variant of Heros efasciatus. I have a green pair that throw about 1/3 golds, the rest greens. There can be quite a bit of variability in the appearance of golds. Here's a couple of pics of my golds and also 'Rotkeil'
well this is exciting. cause i only got 1$ per piece of this fish when they're still all white. hoping them to get more colorful, ill post update from time to time. THNX guys!
