Severum in planted tank?

I just bought a severum for my 70g planted tank, Will he tear them up? He's been in there a day and he hasn't touched them?

I've never kept sevs in a planted tank, but I have fed them romaine lettuce that they readily ate.

I wouldn't worry about it to much. I've had severums with plants with no issues except when mating

I'll see how it goes and If he rips up a plant I'll get rid of him/her, I would also love if others expressed their opinions and tell me if they have experience with this? Thanks

Well, He tried to rip up a plant Will feeding him daily stop him from being hungry and ripping the plants? I fed him just there.

Mine eats real plants and tries to eat fake ones.

They rip up plants and dig like crazy.

i have never had luck with plants with my severums

You should be feeding him daily regardless. However, it will not stop him from ripping up plants.
