severum problem

my stunted sev seems to be at his last round-up .....he was fine yesterday ..but this morning he was swimming erraticly looking like he maybe has swim bladder issues ....my question is to stunted fish owners ,,that have lost 1 recently (or less recently)... is this something you have seen in dying fish (stunted) ...he is now in a 10 gal q tank with about 1/2 dose melafix and a sponge filter run on air.... does anyone have suggestions on how to make his presumed last few days easier on him?.... thanks in advance for the help....

well ol' sev didnt make it .... I am sure (90%)it was swim bladder issues ... due to being stunted....at least I didnt have to put him down myself... he was stuggling all day yesterday to move normally... and then last nite he managed to slide himself up against a rock...that was there for that purpose(to keep him upright)...and just died oh well, such is fishkeeping ....

yes..thanks ...I Was hoping for a little less drama but at lest I WAS ABLE TO get him into a q tank..before the others pecked him badly..
