Has anyone ever bought a small red spotted severum and added it with a large Oscar and had any problems? Im thinking of getting either a Dat or a RS Severum but ive only ever seen these fish being sold at 3-4"? Would in your opinions, the oscar harass the severum?

Bderick67, do you think a 12" O would be able to eat a 3-4" Severum? I know they like there food and that but i cant see an O eating one at that size tbh? I was just thinking that the O might bully it till it does die? Never added a fish that small before?!?

You probably will need to add something in the 5 to 6" range at least. The oscar who has pretty much had the tank to himself may not allow any new tankmates. Hopefully you have another tank to move the fish to if things don't go well.
Im only after moving my O and Bichir to the 120 gallon. They were in a 100 gallon before so i tought with the new tank and that i could add atleast one more fish while there settling into there new home? The old tank is gone tough!
