can a gold and a green breed? any pics of the offspring? been looking around the internet and cant find anythng on the topic.

the gold severum is an "almost" albino severum and will breed with the common green severum, not sure what the offspring would look like though

Yes they can breed and if they do you will get a mix of green severums and gold severums. Or all green severums that carry the gold gene depending on the dominance of the genes.

Sorry, it's not all green fry from that combination. What you get is majority green to light green with the gold variation being "dirty" looking. You will get a true gold every now and then, but it's not common.

i have a green and gold that breed all the time. none of my fry grow large enough to show color.

the fry will depend on the parents genes. assuming both are homogeneous then they would show the dominant gene which i think is green.
