Severum sex?

I want to know my 7 inch severum is male or female. Please tell if anyone know

Welcome to the forum!
The gold severums can be tough because a lot of the natural pigments are lost, but I would say the fish looks to be a female based on the lack of the patterning on its face.

i would like to understand if severum vent shape is V then is it a male?

if it is a male then my severum in the above pics vent shape looks like V. Can you check once again?
