Severum Type

Just left LFS. They had a severum that is mostly golden brown with a bright red stripe running down his body and reddish orange fins. About 5-6 inches.
$42.99. What type and would this be a good deal. He is in excellent shape.

Looked up Hypselecara, not an emerald cichlid. Looked up Rotkeil sev and there it was.

Unless you need the size, I would say that is a touch pricey for a Rotkeil.

If you are around Chi Town, I could hook you up with some nice size ones.

Yep, you could probably get rotkeil for 25-30 bucks

Look at one of our vendors Dramali's Dragonfish, he has them @ 2-2.5" for about $7.00, thats where I got mine.

Thanks, I took a look at his stock list. The price for the fish is good, but unless I misread something, 7 for a 2" fish plus 30 for shipping doesn't make it that much cheaper than the 6-7 inch one locally for 43. If I read wrong please let me know. Just trying to get the proper info, not start a war.

I useually get more than 1 fish, and my shipping cost is a heck of lot less (0 - Since I live here) But you should be able to find them locally, Just trying to show you were mine came from.

That would be just plain rude. And since I don't see them listed in your sig, nor do I recall seeing pics of them, totally pointless. Yes, if I were to order more than 1 fish it would be alot cheaper, just don't think I have room. Saw this one and it was so pretty that I almost got it on impulse, but his credit card machine was out. Guess it wasn't meant to be.
