ive never been one to sex based on pattern. that is why i asked for vent pics. you can guess all day based on apperance, but it will never be accurate.

My female is bigger than my male, but her fins are not as pointy as his. I may have some vent pics at home, ill have to check today or tommorow.

yea females dont have streamers in most cases and it looks like yours doesnt i would say male though

streamers can be nipped at by other fish causing them to look shorter or more rounded. i dont think this is the best way to sex a fish.

Thanks, They have spawned about a dozen times but the eggs never become fertile so I assume my male is infertile.
