Severum with Abnormal Pectoral Fins

Guys, finally got myself a juvie gold sev.. But then realized that when I plopped him into the tank he has upwards facing pectoral fins. Is it normal? I wasn't there when they bagged em... should I try to trade him in with one that has normal pectoral fins?

can you take more pics? It is really hard to tell they can more there fins upward at a 45 degree angle but should not be moving vertically.

+1. They can rotate their fins upward, might do it to stay in place for example, might have done it in the bag due to limited space to extend them. You'd need to observe them for a while to see where their fins come to rest or see whether they're limited to only vertical motions or positions.

Yeah could be that it's what neutrino says, or that it'll fix itself; or that its a cool quirky feature. I would hold off from trading just now, looks like a healthy specimen from the pics
