severum?

[Loves severums]

I was just wondering if a severum would get along with a chocolate cichlid in a 55 gallon? the 55 gallon is not long term.

thank guys i had a severum and a chcolate cichlid once and they would fight but i think it because they were differint sizes.

They're both 'supposed' to be on the passive side, but mine didn't read that book. I had them both in a 250 g tank with an Oscar and the Chocolate beat the Severum up pretty bad. I settled the Sev in a 150 g tank and put the Chocolate in a month or so later and the Sev beat the Chocolate up. I finally gave up on being able to keep them together.

I have never hear of the Chocolate being mean.

i kept 3 severum and a chocolate cichlid short term in a 55g and it was fine. go for it
