Any one have any luck keeping severums with polys. I'm trying to figure out how I want to stock the 300 with mid level fish and I was thinking severums may work. Anybody have any real life experience keeping the two species?

I've had people assure me it would be fine - I can't think of anyone off the top of my head with both currently but I'm sure someone else will chime in.
Yeah I figured they wouldn't be a bad too bad of a choice seeing as they get large so they won't fit in any of the polys mouths and they are relatively peaceful.
I think they would be fine never had sevs but heard they are chill, had a friend with a nasty rotkiel though. Always gonna be trial and error
I wouldn't hesitate for a second mixing severums with polys. I would question the winemilleri though, since they're earth eaters they will hang out at the bottom. I think he already nailed it though, the severums grow too large to be swallowed hole and generally hang out at the mid-top of the tank.
I guess I'll just have to try both hahaha I believe winemilleri tend to be more docile of the geos though most people keep them with discus. As I think in the 300 gallon there would be enough room for them all to get along just fine
