Hello MFK ,

I want to ask you what is the breeding ritual for Severums.At the moment mine locking their lips (like they fighting). Also i saw a hole in the gravel. Here is a picture which i took yesterday and other pictures which might help to see their genders.

You could divide area off where they lay the eggs. Also can suck up wriggler fry with a 1/2 in hose and transfer to a hang on breeding box, or a hatchery aquarium with a seeded sponge filter.

Update , the severums didn't spawn yet. They do making the breeding rituals but i see that the male hunting down the female all the time. Their fins are damaged ( like fin-rot but i am not sure if it's fin rot). Now the male is at one side of the tank and the female in the other. Is a normal behavior?

Yes, unfortunately. What size tank? They might feel crowded and are fighting because they lack enough space.
