Severums breeding behaviour????

My male gt use to do that with anothet male gt... it can be fight or pairing up.....do you know if they are male and female?
Not sure, they both have those green worm things on their gill plates, but the bigger one is very pale and the smaller one is very brightly coloured, the dont have long fins, they are about, big one is 4inches small one is about 3.75 inches
Yeah ryan do you know if they are male and a female ? do you know how to sex them ? a male has a darker pattern on his face and has longer anal and dorsal fins does one or both of them have these features ?
Sounds to me ryan that you have 2 males and they are fighting for dominance. I'd separate them befor it gets too ugly.
sounds like 2 males from what I've read on sexing them. so unless the tank is rather large (75 or bigger) then you will probably have to separate them.
