Not to be outdone by the gold Severums that were highlighted yesterday, the other Severum species in the tank convinced me that they should have equal exposure time. They promised that they would dress in their finest and I couldn't resist their offer. Here they are - some other 'Severums on parade'.

Tank full of sevs, nice!

I've had a group of 8 adult rotkeils in a 135 before, made a nice tank, but not a sev community tank as above. So what type is your favorite, or do you have a favorite?

Gorgeous.

what was the second to last one?

Stunning! I really love the orange belly look!
Yes, they're quite different.

You know, I really like them all. The 'Rotkeil' is the flashiest, and the 'severus' behaviorally the most unconventional (mouthbrooder). But the others are all awesome IMO.

Gorgeous.

You have a beautiful collection of fish!
Thank you.

I could be mistaken, but they look to be Heros severus, the true mouth brooding severum.

You're right. They are Heros severus, the mouthbrooder.
