my green sev and turqoise sev have paired and laid eggs. the eggs are amber color so im guessing their good? what do i do to make shure they hatch and grow, and what can i do to seperate em from the monsters who want to eat em? i dont have any extra tanks right now to put em in.

If it's their first spawn, my experience says you won't have worry about the other monsters, the parents will eat 'em faster than the rest can get there.
I never had the room to seperate a pair, then separate the fry to get any.
If you do, I might be interested.

I have a pair of green sev's in a tank with other fish. One time that they bred, the parents did not eat the fry/eggs and 9 are still living. The fry are doing great in their own tank currently. It is definitely incredibly easier to keep them alive when there aren't larger fish around in the tank.

Mine have laid 5 times and I have still not gotten any fry. Everything I read says that it takes 6 or so spawns before they get it right.
