In illinois the green and gold are priced 8 buck up to 2 inch around 4 to 5 inch like 15 to 30 6 on up 30 to 50 I have seen them priced personally I wouldnt pay over 20 for any sized gold or green not sure on the reds but if I see one around me its mine.

nice i hope reds are similar in price.

i shall join the severum club as soon as i can find one that i like...im leaning more towards the red severum

there awsome looking I have never seen any in my LFS I have a gold and a green looking for a red.

i have a red very beautiful fish a bit shy compared to my others but amazing looking under good lighting mine was 69 dollars in tampa fl but the store i shop at is a lil pricey but has excelent stock

reds are generally more since you dont see them very often. they had some 2" ones here for $30 and a 5" one for about $50. small golds are about $8 while larger 5"+ are about $30. Greens are generally cheaper

Cheaper, and better ;)

Going rate is between £3 - £5 (so double it for dollars)

Wild caughts, between £10 - 25

H.Efasciatus (and most sub species)- £2 - 5
H.Rotkeil - £5 - 10
H.Severus - £ 5 - 30 (depending on quality)
H.Notatus - Money no object! I have gold bars and a working kidney waiting if anyone has one for sale.

Quick pricing/rarity guide for you, incase you find something a little special.

Seems like you boys can get hold of Notatus a touch easier then ourselves. Search high and low in blighty for them. a few dead ends, but nothing so far.

HAHA! That makes it a three way battle then! I would love to have a few as well!
