I want a seveurms, just nervous about if they will be happy in my tank. I ahve a 125 with 2 convicts, two green terrors and an oscar. They are beatiful really want a red...anyone have nice pictures ?

I have 4 severums and think they might be a little stressed in that situation. Sounds like you already have a full tank when those fish grow to size. The convicts and terrors will be 6-8 inches and the oscar will probably reach a foot. Mine like to have run of the tank but do get skittish and freaked out easily. I have my four 6 inch severums in a 150 gallon and still fight amongst themselves. In my opinion I would hold what you have and maybe just add small dither fish or loaches or something. I'm not saying it cant or won't work I am just saying that I wouldn't.

I agree, no Sev in that mix.
Perhaps if you drop the GT's... Hmmmmmmm...
Naw it sounds nice the way you have it stocked right now, leave it be, no more cichlids.
A small shoal of dithers would be a good idea but IMO might push the stocking level a tad too high.

Another tank is calling you, a nice 55gal with a breeding pair of Rokteil Reds:headbang2

I agree with the others. if you add anything I'd try maybe a school of silver dollars. if you dropped one of the GT's you could probably add the severum, but if you're not willing to do that then I'd leave it like it is cichlid-wise.

ps, I've never been much of a fan of the sp. 'rotkiel'...H. efasciatus on the other hand are gorgeous. :grinyes:
