females will have blue on their gill plates.. like this(found it on google, not mine)

where as males won't, like the op has.

Some males and some females are Very distinct from one another.

This one has Clearly Higher and Facial markings and they are not Blotchy...

Females that are very distinct have Large Blotches and the markings are Lower and go under the gill plates.

females have tons of bluey, yours ain't got that much bluey, which says it's a male.
