Hello, I recently purchased a 7 inch dovii in rough shape from a guy who had he or she in a community cichlid tank with some mean fish lol anyways I was wondering if anyone could take a shot at sexing my dovii?
Female. If it was a male it would have spotting by now , and i have a female a tad bit smaller, you can tell by the faded black going down the spine. At 7 inches it should definitely be matured and have all that coloring if it were a male.
Thank you for the response, very shy so far diesnt come out of hiding unless to eat from what I've seen, in a 50 now waiting to be upgraded to a 100 gallon in october
