How large is the fish? Festae can be difficult to sex if young. But s couple things. Shspe of the head. The black at the front of the dorsal. All say female.

I've already asked the same question on the other forum, most people confirmed that the fish is a male festae. Its currently in a 110g tank together with a scat fish, 2 geophagus, meekii cichlid, and jack dempsey.

Good looking fish. I don't see the black on the dorsal fin that the others mentioned. I'd say male, but if you are really curious, vent it and take a picture.

Seems male to me. The black in the dorsal is not solid black in that first picture. The green/yellow extends up into the dorsal, if it was a female that whole front part would be solid black. I certainly could be wrong though!
