I've had them for close to four months and I'm not sure what are there sex. There are three firemouths.

A lot depends on the quality of the fish in question.
Its hard to sex FMs at a small size visually... I have had success sexing fish by watching their behavours though... The males are usually more dominant and flare more whereas the females tend to be quieter and submissive. As they get older though the sex's become much more apparent with the Males becoming larger and heavier in the head with larger mouths and longer fin tips. The females tend to be stouter and less colorful.
Looking at your 3 fish I'd guess the top photo could be of a male with other two being females

Thats not true I had a female that looked exactly like each other t
I thought they were both males until I vented them . She was as or more aggresive then he was and she would often be the dominant one in the pair. Venting is the best way to sex them cause from the picture it looks one male and two females . Especially since no two male or females firemouths look the same or have the same features.
