sex my fish

i have a jag and a midas that have me a little confused. i usually go with the whole size/fins/color thing to sex my cichlids but i'm not too good at venting them so hhere is my
jag who sometimes looks female and sometimes looks male and my midasw who looks male but the vent does seem kinda female so i thought someone might up doubts up for me.

I believe the males have the more "pointy" vent, and if thats true, your midas is a male. As for the jag, my guess would have to be a female. In either case, your jag is a beautiful fish!

Both male. You can see the pointed vent on the jag too.
