Oscar looks female...you will have to vent it to be sure...does it really matter? you've named it Richard.
Flowers and cuban to young.
Texhorn,(7th) might be male...hump starting...maybe.

lol .... Named it Richard because it eats like my nephew. I'm not hip on venting what is that.

Venting is basically checking a fishes junk...only the experienced should do it as it is very stressful to the fish. It a "proceedure" were you have to hold the fish upside down and look between the anal fin and the anus. Experience is then what is needed to tell the difference. Oscars look so simalar between the sexes that it really is the most reliable way to tell. I have heard that the caudle and anal fins on female Oscars will be more round and pronounced.

Tiddly is spot on. The cuban is too young to say for sure, IDK about the O either.

I'm hoping to avoid all that. I'm hoping they pair up so I can start moving them to separate tanks.
