Bought this guy a few days ago and was wondering if anyone could help me sex it and just wanted to make sure it actually is a flowerhorn. I apologize for the not great quality pictures

ohh, must be around 5 inches to sex it man. but to me it's more like a vieja or some kind of hybrid. doesnt look like a flowerhorn. but it's cool though.

usually male gets big kok/hump. females usually dont have kok/hump, unless u feed it with high quality food.
about 5 inches u can see the hump already, but it looks like tht ure fish wont produce one becuz it's probably not a hybrid flowerhorn. but u'll nver know, just observed it's growth. post it progress in a few months or so. and we'll see.
