I was sold a 2" "pair" of Jack Dempsey, the guy who sold them to me said that they were are pair and i asked if they have laid eggs before and he said no.
One of them is most the time black and the other's is fainted, the gravel is brown.
The black one shows great colours.
Few minits ago the black one (the one i think is the male) was shaking him self and making him big, flaring gills and stuff, the lighter one responsed by flaring its gill.
I think it could be the male showing off infront of his female or 2 males/2 females fighting, im not sure.
They are now 3"

The lighter one (i think is female):

The Darker one (i think is male):

So am i right?

They are too small too young to tell, but if I had to guess...
The lighter one (1st pict) looks like he is a male because of the lack of speckles on the gillplate. Second pict (darker one) looks to be female. Just a guess because they are small.....

I know that the lighter one looks like a male, and the other like a female, i think its opposite. The lighter one behaves like a female and the darker has always acted like a male because he is always "protecting" the other one from the Convict male and fights him like
Also showed me today how he/she can brag about its colours and make him self big infront of the other one, never seen any cichlid as beautiful as he was there for about 5 mins.:grinno:

No not from Rapps. From my friend, as far as i know Rapps doesnt ship to iceland.
