Sex my Jag

Can someone sex my jag, had its about 8months and is about 7"

Do you think getting a male/female to go with it would work, or could they still not get on and fight.

Female but it kinda looks like a jag mixed with a red tiger mota or a lioselle

Looks female...
The size of your tank determines what else you can do ...typically a 120 gallon and above recommended to keep a pair pair of jags...good luck..

Not sure on the gallon, as I'm in uk gallons. My tank is 130uk gallons, thinking of getting bigger one. But getting great cichlids round where I am is so hard to be able to get a male. Normally type of hybrid or not great genes.
