Jags are easy to sex without venting just need good enough pics. Can vent if u want but i can usually sex them even when pretty small by body structure and pattern. One good way to tell when young is the shape of the mouth with males being more braud and females more pointed. Females tend to alot of times maintain a plumer stomach while males will look more slim.
