It's a male, but it has nothing to do with the fins. JD sexing is done by looking at the gill plate. Females have lots of blue, males don't.

Maybe too young but I am going to say female I bet the blue beard starts to come out and I say this because of the line of dots under the eye alot of females have that amles do not have as you see in cacichlids pic

After a 400% zoom in, I saw, like diggler said, the beginning of a blue beard. It would say female. I might be wrong, the fish is still small. It will be clearer in two or three weeks.
