I got this jd thought it was a male cause the way it looks but I vented it and it kinda looks like it could be a female. I have it with a smaller female . They dont pay any mind to eachother .

You sure? I know it has a lot of spangles on its gill plate bit It does have.spangles on its body. Unlike this one.witch i know is a female.
