Sex my Lyonsi

Just picked it up yesterday, still settling in. The original owner said that the LFS claimed it was wild caught (is that even legal?). Roughly 7 inches including tail (body is ~5-5.5 inches). I would like to find a mate for it if there are any out there. I have a 90 gallon just waiting for it. Any guesses on the sex?

I'd guess male. Females usually have a dark blotch in the dorsal fin (I think).

Male. I believe female lyonsi have a black section in their dorsal - although this doesn't hold true 100% pf the time.

Just curious.... what LFS did it come from?.... I brought my male jag from a Lfs in Philly...but also I thought I heard that lyonsi were extinct in the wild.....
