What sex is my midas? He/she has a tube like thing sticking out, and it is rounded at the bottom.

I think its just the light playing tricks, my white female has those same kind of dots on her fins and tail. It looks to me like its fixing to peal into some white on its sides also, so it could be white spots starting to show white and the light making them look gold.

I see absolutely zero reason to think its a Flowerhorn or anything close to that. If you talking about the spots on the fins then that is normal.
