its hard say, but by visual the fins look like they can still grow out some streamers suggesting male. Females usually have really rounded ends on their fins. The steap angle of the head also suggests male where females tend to be more oval... at least my females. The coloration looks more bright and colorful than some females, but not super bright like a male in breeding form. Could be a young, maybe stressed male or a nicely colored female.

I call male though.
