It's way too soon to tell. They're too young. You may have one of each, two males, or two females.

it is a little early to tell, but if i were to guess i would say that the one in the first picture is a female and the one in the second picture is a male, i only say this because the one in the second's fins seem to be a little longer and have more of point

Thank you for your input, that is exactly what I thought. Its hard to tell in the pictures, but the "male" has about double the marking on his face. That is why I thought that. I'll post more pictures when they get a little bit bigger.

yeah i see that now that you say that, and even the shape of the head seems to me more male-severum-like, or well at least the head looks to be more like the shape of the two severums that i've had who were both males, not so sure if thats a great way to sex them though haha

Red-spotted gold's are notoriously difficult to sex. You just cannot do it on face markings like with greens.
They are too young to tell by just looking at them.

A surefire way of doing it (although I have never done this), according to some is to hold the fish in you hand and squeeze the abdomen just in front of the ventral/anal opening. A male will squirt out some clear fluid, whereas a female will not. Hopefully someone who has actually done this will chime in with better detail.
