HAHA...now most people would say female because of the dorsal being black, but thats a lot more spangling than I ever had in any female Ive grown out, so Im going to say Male. Does it have a mate in there? Those are almost spawning/breeding colors.
 
well from the second pic i would have said female but the first pic def shows that its a male from all that SWEET spangling :)

Hes always around my Salvini which is def male
 
hey thats Ok some fish just swing that way lol, at least it brings out his great colors:) how big is he?
 
he was about 8" when these pics were taken about a foot now he wont stop attacking my fem oscar and the male doesnt protect her any more
