Sex my Short Bodied GT

I was at one of my LFS today and came across a nice looking short bodied GT. I realize the only true way to sex these fish is to vent them, but I'm just wondering what everybody is thinking at first glance. The fish is about 2.5"-3" SL right now. Hoping for a male.

vary nice, i just got my gts for breeding, and im not to shure about the short bodys but looks like a nice little hump on that guy culd be a male

Definitely a short body...might not shine through in the pics but that I'm sure of. Not much of a hump though. I was thinking male when I made the pickup but wanted to get some second opinions from the experts

yeah def looks male to me, has great body color and nice design within the fins, looks like hes gonna be a good looking fish (though i personally dont prefer short-bodied fish) he looks good though

Yeah thanks, I saw him and had to grab him. One of my favorite fish but ever since my old female died I haven't been able to find another with really good potential in my eyes. Hopefully grows into a stunner.
