Here is a video and some pics of two umbees of mine that i would like to have sexed. the first one is my largest and is about 4.5 to 5" and is the most dominant one in my tank. I am thinking it is a male just by looking at his size, his dominance and the blue freckling. i have noticed that this fish gets a lighter body when being territorial like a bright olive/yellowish color which i here indicates a female but this fish is growing much faster than the others. These are f1 rio mag umbees that i got starting at 1.5" back in late october. The second one is only about 3" but has nice color coming in and has a longer sleek body than the others, thinking it might be male as well but i know its hard to tell at this size. In the video the first umbee is the larger one i have and then the second one i focus on is the 3". Please let me know what your thoughts are. thanks. I believe i have 2 or 3 females out of the 5 in this group. i will try and get more pics. hard to get good ones because they move so much.
