sex my umbee plz

Without a vent picture I can't identify the sex 100% but there are two physical characteristics that make me assume female.
1) Short tail trailers. Assuming that umbee is housed solo I would expect the trailers to be about half way past the tail. However some male umbees do have slow growing trailers so this is not an exact method of identification.
2) The black coloration on the pelvic fins. If an umbee has black coloration on its pelvic fin it always indicates a female umbee. I do not know of any male umbee that has developed black colors on its pelvic fin, but yours could be an exception.

heres some more pics

thank you for the reply. i did see while researching that females black on the pelvic fin.well i took a vent pic too make sure.

not sure about the black pelvic fins, the way I've always used was the red around the gills and head and the females tend to have duller more greenish brown speckles.

The vent looks more rounded than pointed, but it could become more defined in the next few months (unlikely to become more pointed though so don't get your hopes up). However, since it looks rounded out and it has black pelvic fins, i'm confident you have a nice looking female.
