Sex of giant gourami?

Some people say the dorsal fin is the best method of sexing giant gourami. The more pointed it is the more likely it's a male. As you can see by my picture my RTGG has a very distinctive pointy dorsal, hence male. However, the dorsal fin on yours is a little beat up, it's not really clear. You could wait until it repairs itself and then you might be able to tell.
