Sex of my Gold severum

Can anyone tell me what sex my severum is? I want to get a rotkeil, but I think If I do I should get one of the same sex, as there are other fish in the tank that might inhibit the breeding process and I have no other tank to put them in. I can take more pics if needed, these might not do it.

I'd say 100% female - got one at home that looks exactly the same.

If introducing another fish you want to watch out for cross breeding with your parrot. legend has it that they are heavily based on sevs, and putting in a potentail mate for your sev, could result in a mate for your parrot too.

Ill try and get some pics up later, but I am wondering: a male has more defined color patterns in the face, right? and the males are larger and have pointier fins? Is that correct, because thats what Im looking for. This sev is pretty large compared to others Ive seen, and has a more defined facial pattern than it looks from the pics too, but nothing crazy like some others ive seen.

Male Golds will have red squiggles on their face, females will have very faint ones.

Heres is my old 9" female.(she was bigger than my male but fins were not as pointy as his)

Hard to sex, anal and dorsal fin extensions indicate male, lack of facial markings indicate females.
