at first i tought male, but compared to my male i think female, idk ...its about 6 inches tell me what you think, if you need more pics let me know

Lack of blue on the lower gill plate usually indicates a male. He also seems to have allot of spangles on the upper half of his body, which also tends to be a male trait. Another tip is that the blue on a male's gill plate tends to be individual spots, while females will have more blotching, covering more area. I hope this helps.
