Sex the festae

I don't have my contacts in so i can't tell whether that's a Festae or a mayan
 
Labeled festae by itself was a separate tank of mayan but I'm no expert most of my experience is in parachromis
 
Me too. I have been sold Mayans labeled as fester and festae labeled as Mayans. I'm sure you'll know when the others chime in.
 
Also, what is the white thing on his head in the the picture? Other than that he is a good looking little guy.
