Sex the GT

What do you peeps think? In the pic you can kind of get an idea of how big the GT is by the size of the convict (in other words not that big yet, maybe 3 inches or so).

Me too, i think it is a female. It doesn't have a long dorsal fin or bright colouring the male typically have. Then again, it is still small.

It's a girl. Color and finnage are not 100% but can be used in conjunction with other visuals. I go by the less sloping forehead and rounder body shape.

yeah for me it was mostly body shape

id say female due to the lack of coloration on the body and fins

Im thinking female too. Color is drab, head and body shape not quite like a male, and the dorsal/anal fins arent so pointy or trailing. Could be its size, not mature yet. If you are still in doubt try again later, you never know it may color up and get a hump.

I tend to agree with the above comments, Feamle. However, I don't know how long you had. It may get more color and the thrid pic shows an indentation over the eyes so it might get a hump later. But I have to go with female for now, Post more pics in a couple of weeks and we'll kick it around again. Body shape also looks female.
